Family Integration

All Covenant Members

Though we hold to a high church liturgy, don’t be surprised by the sounds of whining babies awaiting to be fed and giggling toddlers squirming in their seats.

Family integration is not due to our small size but is an intentional decision to include our young members in their right, through Christ, to worship the Triune God with the rest of the body. Biblically, we see no scriptural precedent to preclude them from worshiping with their other church members. We pray by bringing them into the service they find their place in the church at a young age and by grace do not depart from it.

But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”

Mark 10:14-15

Multi-Generational

In addition to being family and child friendly, we are also a multi-generational church. The future vision for our body is to be a congregation that has daughters worshiping with their mothers, and grandsons communing with their grandfathers. This is not a temporary vision but one that creates a legacy for our children and an inheritance for our children’s children.

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations
